Audience: School and District Admins
School Settings allow Admins to manage settings for their entire school.
To adjust settings at the school level:
- Sign in to your admin account at https://app.seesaw.me.
- Tap on the Admin Tools gear in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Manage School Administrators. Admins can add or remove principals, tech coordinators, IT, and other school admins to your Seesaw Dashboard. You can add up to 50 administrators to your school dashboard. Learn more about adding and removing admins.
- Schoolwide Settings. Schoolwide Settings allow Admins to manage Class Settings at a schoolwide level.
- Messages Settings. School Settings for Messages allows School Administrators to decide who at their school can engage in private messaging and who with! Admins can customize their school’s messaging experience based on the communication needs of their school community. This setting is enabled or disabled by a district administrator if applicable.
- Standards and Grading Settings. Admins can manage standard sets and grading scales for their school. This setting is enabled or disabled by a district administrator if applicable.
- AI Features Settings. Set the default availability of product features that leverage AI. This setting is enabled or disabled by a district administrator if applicable.
- Trusted Email Domains. Only email addresses with trusted domains can be used for Seesaw accounts. Using this feature allows you to add a new trusted email domain to your dashboard. This setting is enabled or disabled by a district administrator if applicable.
- Trusted Networks. Allow students to collaborate with classmates while at school, but restrict their ability to see other classmates' work when accessing Seesaw outside of your school network (e.g., at home). Learn more about adding trusted networks.
- Regional Settings. Determine the Seesaw platform language, grade-level terminology, and regional content settings for all teachers, administrators and students. This setting is enabled or disabled by a district administrator if applicable.
- Teacher Access to Portfolio History. Allow teachers to access current students' data from prior years.
- Teacher Access to Generating Home Learning Codes. Allow teachers to print or download Home Learning Codes.
- Subscription Information. Find your subscription details such as subscription address, end date, and Account Manager contact details.
