Seesaw Okta App integration setup

Install the Seesaw App Integration from the OIN. Don't see the Seesaw app in Okta? Here's how to set up manually. 

1. In the Okta App Integrations catalog, search for “Seesaw”.
2. When found, click on the tile and then click Add Integration. 
   
3. In the next view apply any custom settings you’d like for Seesaw.
4. Click Done.

Enable Okta SSO for users

1. Assign any people or groups of your organization to the Seesaw app integration
   
    
2. This will enable users to be able to sign in with Okta in Seesaw, and will allow users to see the Seesaw app integration from their Okta dashboard 
   
    

Get Okta parameters for SSO configuration

1. Go to the Seesaw app integration in Okta.
2. Click on the Sign On tab.
   
    
3. Copy the Client ID and Client secret - these values need to be entered in the following steps.

Configure district for Okta SSO

1. To begin, Admin needs to add a new SSO configuration in the district-wide settings.
2. On the District Dashboard > tap District Wide Settings. 
3. Tap Authentication and Security.
4. Scroll down to Manage SSO Configurations. 
   
5. Enter the information copied from the Seesaw app integration in Okta in the prior step.
6. Click Add SSO Config.
    

In Seesaw:

1. Tap Sign in with Okta.
2. Enter your account email address. 
3. Click Sign in.
   
    
4. On the Okta Sign in Page, enter your user credentials. (Please note: The username should be the same that was entered in Seesaw previously.)
5. Click Sign in.

On Okta Dashboard:
 

1. Login to your Okta Org to view the Seesaw app tile in the dashboard.
2. Click the app tile. 
   
3. You will be automatically authenticated and redirected to the Seesaw app.
   (Please note: Okta Org Admin must enable the Okta Dashboard option.)
