Hiding and Archiving Message Threads

Seesaw Messages provide the option to both hide and archive message threads from the inbox.

Hiding messages

  • Anyone can hide a message thread.
  • Messages are hidden only from the inbox of the user who has hidden it.
  • Hidden messages can be unhidden at any time.

Archiving messages

  • Messages are automatically archived when classes are archived and can be viewed by following the below steps.
  • Teacher owners and school admins can archive a thread.
  • This hides the thread and turns off replies for everyone.
  • Archived messages can be unarchived at any time.
