Audience: Teachers with Seesaw Instruction & Insights
Teachers with SI&I accounts can create Flexcards to offer greater customization and variability in activities. Flexcards can contain text, images, or a combination, with up to 40 sides! Teachers can select from a library of pre-made Flexcards created by our Curriculum experts for common ELA and Math use cases.
How to create an Activity with Flashcards
- Tap the green +Add button.
- Tap Create Activity.
- Select Create from Scratch.
- The Creative Canvas will appear.
- Tap the Teacher Toolkit icon and select Flexcards.
- Choose from a gallery of Seesaw-made Flexcards or create your own.
- If you choose to create your own, choose the Flexcard Type: Sequential or Random.
- Add text, an image, a voice, or a combination to Sides. (Choose up to 40 sides.)
- Add your own images, or tap + Add Images to search the Image Library. The Image Library allows teachers to search for Seesaw created and curated images directly within Seesaw instead of leaving the platform to find visuals.
- Tap Add to add the Flexcard to the activity.
What happens if an Activity with Flexcards is shared with a teacher who doesn't have Seesaw Instruction and Insights?
In this scenario, the Activities sent to a teacher without SI&I can be viewed and assigned, but not edited.
