How to use Activities in Seesaw

Teachers can easily create and assign activities for students to complete in Seesaw on any device and on the web. The new activity assign flow makes it easier for teachers to schedule activities in advance, add a due date to activities so that students know when to complete them, and automatically archive to keep the activities tab organized!

For their work to be uploaded to their portfolio and visible to teachers and family members, students should still tap Draft or the green Check.

  2. After selecting Pin to Top from the [...] menu, you will see the activity moved to the top of the Activity feed with the label, Pinned. Students will see this at the top of the To-Do List until they complete the Activity (at which time it will move to their Done list).
  3. Teachers can unpin an activity at any time by selecting the [...] button on the Activity, then Unpin Activity. Unpinning an Activity will remove the Activity from the top of the student To-Do List and allow a new Activity to be pinned in its place.
