SMS notifications can be turned on for customers with US, US territory, and Canadian cell phone numbers. Seesaw does not support SMS notifications outside of the US and Canada. A connected parent or family member can receive SMS notifications about updates in their child's journal by following the below instructions.
💡 If you cannot receive SMS notifications, ensure you have enabled push notifications.
- Sign in to your Seesaw parent account at https://app.seesaw.me.
- Tap on your profile icon.
- Tap Account Settings.
- In the Phone field, add your phone number (including area code!) without spaces.
For example: 1238675309.
Note: Canadian phone numbers will need to include +country code. - Toggle SMS notifications ON.
** SMS messages are not connected to the Seesaw app, so families without smart phones will still be able to receive notifications about updates in their child's journal **
If you are still not receiving SMS after you've done this, please contact Seesaw Support and we will investigate your account.
Seesaw users are able to stop SMS notifications by following the below steps.
1. Sign in to your Seesaw parent account at https://app.seesaw.me.
2. Tap on your profile icon.
3. Tap Account Settings.
4. In the Phone field remove your phone number.
5. Toggle SMS notifications OFF.
