Teachers can easily create and assign activities for students to complete in Seesaw on any device and on the web. For their work to be uploaded to their portfolio and visible to teachers and family members, students should still tap Draft or the green Check.
Do you have an activity you really want students to see and complete? Use the Pin to Top feature! Teachers can pin one activity to the top of the Activities feed for students to see first when they select the Activities tab.
- To pin an Activity, select the [...] button on an Activity, then Pin to Top.
- After selecting Pin to Top from the [...] menu, you will see the activity moved to the top of the Activity feed with the label, Pinned. Students will see this at the top of the To-Do List until they complete the Activity (at which time it will move to their Done list).
- Teachers can unpin an activity at any time by selecting the [...] button on the Activity, then Unpin Activity. Unpinning an Activity will remove the Activity from the top of the student To-Do List and allow a new Activity to be pinned in its place.
