Audience: Teachers
Teachers have the ability to translate Activities and Lessons into over 100 languages. Seesaw’s built-in translation uses AI to provide quick translations, while also allowing teachers to adjust activities as needed. This supports multilingual learners, dual-language classrooms, and language instruction, all without having to recreate activities or lose the original teaching intent.
This feature is included with AI subscription packages.
Translation overview
Teachers can translate Lessons (all of the Activities within that lesson), entire individual activities at once, or translate only specific text in an Activity (such as instructions) while keeping the rest of the content in the primary language of instruction.
Translations apply only to text elements within an activity. Audio and video content are not translated.
