Audience: Seesaw Teachers
When teachers log in to Seesaw, the Teacher Homepage streamlines access to what you do most: reviewing Posts and Comments, sending Messages, viewing Activity status, searching for Activities, and more.
All teachers will be upgraded to the new experience in August 2026.
Class Snapshot
The Class Snapshot shows recent updates for your class since your last login. View important posts, messages, and comments to review. View current Activities assigned to your class and see how many have responded and assign additional Activities. Teachers can also easily add students, families, and access Class Settings.
Shortcuts
Get quick access to the tools and features you use most in Seesaw: post to Journal, Create Activities, Generate Activities, and Message Families.
Teacher Resources
Get quick access to newly updated resources (available in English, Spanish, and Arabic).
Class Organization
Customize the order in which classes appear.
- Select My Classes.
- Tap Reorder Classes.
- Drag and drop your classes to bring your most important classes to the top.
- Tap Save Changes.

Access all your essential tools in just a click! The left menu is streamlined and easy to open or hide as you need. To expand or collapse the panel, tap on the menu icon.
