FAQs

Are the updates available for all users in the UK/EU/AUS?
Seesaw for UK is available for all users with a school or multi-school group subscription. Seesaw Starter users will not see any changes.

How do I change how content is localized in the Seesaw app?
The Seesaw app uses browser language settings to determine what kind of localized experience to deliver. If for any reason (for example, you are in Australia and prefer to use the term 'student' instead of 'pupil') simply update your browser's preferred language to US-English.
Do I need to download a new app or access Seesaw from a new URL?
Aside from updating to the latest version of iOS and Android, users in the UK/EU/AUS will not need to take any action to experience these enhancements.

What will happen if I don’t update my iOS or Android app? Will the Seesaw app no longer work?
While we encourage users to update to the latest version of Seesaw as soon as possible, users will not experience any lapse in service if they do not update their app right away. The app will not switch over to British English or the universal date and time format until it is updated.

Will content in The Seesaw Library be updated to reflect the local dialect as well?
Content in The Seesaw Library will not be localized at this time, but all activities in the Seesaw Library can be edited to better meet educators' needs.

Will historical data, student journals, and teacher work transfer over after the transition?
Yes! There will be no changes to access of historical data, student journals, or teacher work.
