Updates to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (2026)

Effective February 17, 2026, we’re updating our Terms of Service. These updates clarify how content and data are handled and better reflect how our services are used today. Below is a summary of what’s changing.

1. A more limited license to user content
We’ve narrowed the rights Seesaw has to use User Content. Under the updated Terms, Seesaw’s license is limited to what’s necessary to provide, maintain, improve, and secure the services, comply with legal obligations, or as you explicitly permit. Prior language allowing broader uses (such as publishing or creating derivative works) has been removed.

2. New analytics section for Premium customers
We’ve added a new section explaining aggregated analytics used in Premium features (e.g., activity dashboards). It clarifies that this data does not include direct identifiers, it belongs to the customer, and is deleted when customer data is deleted. This section is intended to provide more transparency around analytics features.

3. Clarified payment terms for early termination
For paid and multi-year subscriptions, the updated Terms clarify that ending a subscription early may result in loss of multi-year discounts, no refunds, and responsibility for unpaid fees for the committed term.

4. Deletion and data retention
The deletion section now explicitly references our Data Processing Agreement for data retention details.
