How long do parents have access to their child’s Seesaw journal?

Parents can access their child’s work inside the Seesaw app or website for as long as their child’s class is active. Parent access to Seesaw is free.

After a class has been archived by the teacher (usually at the end of the school year), parents will have 60 days to download a .zip archive of their child’s journal, including images, videos, voice recordings, captions for free. We will notify parents automatically about this option with instructions when a class is archived. 60 days after a class is archived, parents will no longer have access to the class.

If you want parents to have continued access to journals from all of the child's classes, including archived classes inside the Seesaw app or website, your school can upgrade to Seesaw for Schools
