Audience: Seesaw teachers, families, and administrators
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) provides an extra layer of sign-in security. MFA helps keep out anyone who shouldn't have access to your account by requiring a verification code (sent via email) in addition to your password before your account can be accessed, or logging in via an authenticator app.
- Seesaw teachers, families, and administrators can enable MFA at any time.
- Seesaw teachers, families, and administrators with MFA will be prompted when logging in from a new IP address.
- Student email/password accounts are excluded from this requirement.
- District administrators who sign in with email/password are required to enter an MFA code sent to their email every time they log in to their account. District admins are required to reauthenticate every 7 days.
