Audience: Seesaw Teachers
When teachers log in to Seesaw, the Teacher Homepage makes it easier to access your most common tasks: reviewing Posts and Comments, sending Messages, checking Activity status, searching for Activities, and more.
All teachers will be upgraded to the new experience in August 2026.
Class Snapshot
The Class Snapshot displays recent updates for your class since your last login. See important posts, messages, and comments to review. View current Activities assigned to your class, see how many have responded, and assign more Activities. Teachers can also easily add students, families, and access Class Settings.
Shortcuts
Quickly access the tools and features you use most in Seesaw: post to Journal, Create Activities, Generate Activities, and Message Families.
Teacher Resources
Quickly access newly updated resources (available in English, Spanish, and Arabic).
Class Organisation
Customise the order in which classes appear.

Select My Classes.
- Tap Reorder Classes.

Drag and drop your classes to move your most important classes to the top.
- Tap Save Changes.

Access all your essential tools with just one click! The left menu is streamlined and easy to open or hide as needed. To expand or collapse the panel, tap the menu icon.
