The Differences Between a Student Account and a Family Account

3.png Audience: Families and Students

Student accounts are primarily used by students for learning purposes, while Family accounts serve as a means for parents to actively participate in and support their child's education. Both account types play essential roles in fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

There are some key differences between student and family accounts:

  • Family members can view and respond to messages sent to the family; students cannot.
  • Family members cannot view the Activities tab, create a post, view and respond to messages sent to the student, see other students' work, among other things.
