Managing Library sharing settings

audience.png  Audience: School and District Admins with paid subscriptions

School and District Admins are able to manage whether or not teachers can share activities to School or District Libraries by updating settings in the District Dashboard.

District Library Settings

📣 When an administrator disables sharing to the District Library for teachers, teachers will no longer see an option to share activities to their District Library. However, they can continue to share activities to their School Libraries. Note: in instances where a user is both a teacher and an admin, they will still be able to post to the District Library.

  1. In the District Dashboard, go to District Admin Tools and tap on District Wide Settings.
  2. In Activities and Content, go to Sharing activities to the District Library. The default setting is Teachers and Admins can share activities to the District Library.
  3. Select Admins Only from the dropdown.
  4. Tap the Save Changes button.
  5. Confirm by tapping Make Updates.
  6. Click on Done.
  7. When sharing a Lesson, teachers will see that they can only share to School Libraries.
