How to use School and District Libraries

3.png Audience: Teachers with school or district subscriptions

Teachers can publish activities to their School Library to be shared and used by all teachers at their school. If you are using Seesaw as a district, teachers and administrators can also publish to the District Library! 

🧰 A note on settings: Admins control whether teachers can submit to School and District Libraries. If you are unable to publish to your School or District Library, please reach out to your Admin.

School Library
  1. Go to My Library. Tap on the lesson you would like to publish to the School Library.
  2. Tap on the [...] 3 dots and select Share Lesson
  3. Tap Share in 'Share to School & District Libraries'.
  4. Select the grade level(s) and subjects for the activity and then tap Share.

Every teacher at your school will be able to use this lesson by going to Resource Library > School & District Library.  Once in the Library, tap on the dropdown to filter the Library to a specific school.

 

District Library

You can also share your activities with all teachers in your district!

  1. Go to My Library. Tap on the lesson you would like to publish to the District Library.
  2. Tap on the [...] 3 dots and select Share Lesson
  3. Tap Share in 'Share to School & District Libraries'.
  4. Select the grade level(s) and subjects for the activity.

  5. You can also choose the specific school(s) and/or district you would like to add.
  6. Tap Share

Every teacher in the school and district will be able to use this lesson by going to: Resource Library > School & District Library. Once in the Library, tap on the dropdown to filter the Library to the entire district or a specific school.

Removing Activities from the School and District Library

Teachers can remove their activity from the School or District Library by tapping the [...]  and Remove from School/District.
