Students: How to add Google Drive files to Seesaw

Students can add work created in Google apps like Docs, Slides, or Sheets directly into Seesaw portfolios via mobile devices and on the web. Supported file types that have been added to Google Drive are accessible by following the below steps. Teachers can view technical requirements here.

Using Google with Seesaw on the web
  1. In Seesaw, tap the green +Add button.
  2. In Post Your Work, tap Upload

  3. Tap Select from Google Drive.You will need to sign in to your Google account before you can browse files in your Google Drive.

  4. Choose a file from your Google Drive. If the file can be added into Seesaw, the Select button will turn blue.

  5. Your file will be added to the Creative Canvas. Get creative!
  6. Tap the green checkmark.
Using Google on Seesaw on mobile devices
  1. In Seesaw, tap the green +Add button.

  3. Tap Browse. Sign in to your Google account first, so you can browse files in your Google Drive.

  4. Choose a file from your Google Drive.
  5. Your file will be added to the Creative Canvas. Get creative!
  6. Tap the green checkmark.
