Language localization in Seesaw

audience.png  Audience: Seesaw Users

Seesaw is excited to be a global platform for every voice. Seesaw offers a tailored experience in dozens of languages to make instruction accessible, engaging, and inclusive for every adult in a student’s life.

Core classroom use cases for language localization include:
  • Dual‑language/immersion classes
  • Support for newcomers
  • Content‑area scaffolds
  • Family–school communication

How to designate language preferences

Administrators can determine the Seesaw platform language, grade-level terminology, and regional content settings for all teachers, administrators and students. Teachers can set their preferred language in the Profile section of Account Settings. They can also update a student's preferred language. Family members can customize their own preferred language settings as well.
