Parent contacts in the Inbox need student names too!

Yesterday when I looked up parent contacts in my Inbox their name was paired with their child's name.  Now I can only see the parents name.  I have 400 students so I do not know all of the parents.  This makes it very hard to know which child belongs with the parent if they have different last names or if they only registered with a first name.  We need a way to have the option to view student names with parent names.

    Hi,

This bug has been fixed by our engineers and student names are now showing back up below the parents in the inbox. Thanks for all of your patience as we sorted this issue out!

  • Yes!  Why did this go away?  I could use command+f to look for a student name to contact a family member.  Now I have to click parent names to try to find a child if they don't share a name with their family member.

  • In my community a lot of the kids have different last names from their parents.  I need the kids' names to know which kid goes with which parent. EVERY teacher at my school is sending me questions about this today.  Please change it back.

  • I have had feedback from many teachers today as well, asking for this feature to come back. We had reorganization recently and many of my students are new, and I need the student name with the parent name. I still don't know all names of parents of students I have had all year.

  • Yes, help!  Student names not showing under parent names in Seesaw Messages. Is this an update or is there some way to turn it back on?
