Can you create an activity without a student response?

I'm looking to create an activity as a resource for students that they can refer to as needed (and use the links in the activity). I don't want them to add a response. Is it possible to create an activity without having students add a response?

  • Yes, like a "my folder" for things they need (links, schedules, etc.) that the teacher can send them virtually!

  • Yes!  I send an activity as a notice or reminder to complete some work on a specific app.  This doesn't require any kind of response but the kids feel like they need to write something to me. Maybe there's a better way to do this.???

  • Yes.  It would be great if we had a way to make a resources section (it would be great to have a resources tab next to the inbox and activities) that was just for links or files that the students could access throughout the year without needing to scroll through their Journal or announcements to find it.  For example to put in a digital copy of their sight word list for the year or links to websites used frequently.

  • This would be amazing! Lots of my kiddos have various zoom links, choice boards etc set as activities and it can be very triggering come the end of the week when they can not tick it off as done. (Special Ed)
