Bring the Note Tool INTO the Drawing Tool

The only tool available for students to type text when they are in the "Drawing" response template, is a very awkward text entry window that types in an enormous font, and requires too much dexterity and finessing with resizing for students to be able to write phrases or sentences. I find that kids hate it.  If you brought in the notebook paper -like "Note" tool as an option that kids could click on while IN the "Drawing" response template - that would fix this and make the "Drawing" response option even more robust!

  • So, just one fixed size font that isn't resizable by dragging... sort of a mini-app like Microsoft's Notepad?   I agree that text boxes are fine for short responses like a word, letter or single sentence.  Bu, they're  not so good for longer more serious writing.
