Track Missing Activities

There really needs to be an easier way to simply see if students have turned in activities or not.  A spreadsheet for the whole class that simply states whether an assignment has been turned in or not (or in draft stage) would make my job so much easier.  It's far too time consuming to look through their journals or the individual activities and the skills trick is awkward and easy to forget to do.

Thank you so much for this great feedback! Our team has just launched the Progress Dashboard, which allows teachers to view at-a-glance all the activities within their class, and which students have completed, started a draft, or not submitted work for each activity. This update is available online and for Seesaw for Schools and Plus users!

  • Yes! This is torture in SeeSaw. Google Classroom has a "gradebook" feature that lets you see missing work; Seesaw should too!

  • Yes.  Seems like a great opportunity for Seesaw to be responsive to teachers, students and their families.

  • I agree. I feel like my students who aren't turning activities in are able to slip through the cracks a lot easier because it's not at the forefront. Also, for my students who have LOTS of missing activities, I'd like to be able to easily archive their activities on one page rather than doing it in calendar mode.

  • This is a necessity right now!

  • I agree this is definitely needed. Currently there is not a teacher friendly way of tracking missing assignments.  It takes a LONG time clicking into each activity to see what is missing and from whom.  I would love to see this feature in the very near future!
