Select multiple activities and archive them all at once :-)

It would be very beneficial to be able to select multiple activities and archive them all at once instead of selecting each individual activity and archiving it.

Thank you all for this feedback. Teachers can bulk archive all activities assigned on or before a specific date to remove those activities from students’ “To Do” list on the Seesaw website.

    1. Go to https://app.seesaw.me and sign in as a teacher
    2. Click on Activities tab
    3. Click on the Bulk Archive Activities button on the bottom right
    4. Select the date to bulk archive all activities assigned on or before that date

  • I concur, would be most helpful, or provide a way to hide activities from week to week or quarter to quarter.

  • Please, please, please consider providing this feature.  It would be most helpful to have a one quick button that you can click to archive all activities.  Thank you!

  • Yes please!  It takes HOURS of time to archive activities one by one.  It is important to be able to take activities out of students feed after a certain period of time and it is SO TIME CONSUMING to have to click each activity one by one.  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It took me hours to archive 4 classes of activities from the last 25 weeks. I noticed that several kids in other classes had 80+ activities still in their inbox. They had done the activity but hadn't clicked on Add Response to say they had done it. Please come up with an archive all button! I will now archive each week so this doesn't happen again.

  • Our staff have inherited the classes from previous years' teachers.  Some staff have not been as organised as others leaving people with masses of activities to archive.  This would be SO VERY helpful!

  • Yes please! I would love to archive all activities at the end of the trimester. But doing it 1 at a time would take forever!

  • What a wonderful option it would be to archive multiple activities at once. It is so time consuming doing one by one especially when you have 2 classes.  Please, Please, Please create this feature.

  • The platform is very helpful.  However, it needs to be more efficient to save time since this is a very beneficial program.  If you can delete or archive more than one activity at a time, this would help save time.  Educators truly need this kind of help.

    Thank you

  • I would love to be able to mass archive or have a default of how many days after an item has been assigned that it will automatically archive.

  • PLEASE!  This would save teachers SO MANY HOURS!  At our school we do weekly folders and if you could archieve every assignment in the folder with one click that would be AMAZING!

  • Please enable this feature for effective use of technology as teachers are wasting way too much time weekly to archive activities in each Seesaw Class.

  • Just adding a comment to agree!  Here's an example of why a multiple activity feature archive would be so beneficial:

I assign approximately 20 activities a week and other teachers assign approximately 10 activities per week to my class. So every week I have to archive 30 activities. Additionally, because I am the district virtual kindergarten teacher, I have students assigned to four different buildings, none are assigned to me in our student management system. Since Seesaw is tied to our student management system, I have to have a different Seesaw class for each building, so that's four classes. Now, multiply the 30 activities by 4 classes, I've got 120 activities archive each week. That's scroll to find the oldest activity, hit the three dots, select "archive activity", "Activity Archive?" (yes archive), for each activity. I timed it, because I'm a nerd, and that's 10 minutes of my week. I know it doesn't sound like a lot, but 10 minutes of teacher time is far too precious to spend repeatedly hitting buttons with no significant learning outcomes for students.

  • A check system to archive activities would be so helpful. Hopefully you are working on this so we can do multiple. It is a big drawback .  I picture it to be where a summary of the assigned activities are. Teacher would check activities to be archived and hit delete or archive.
