Can't view missing assignments by student

PLEASE create a way to view missing assignments by student. I'm tired of having to go through every. single. activity. to see what each student is missing. The more activities I assign, the more horrendous this task becomes. It's ridiculous that I have to do it that way.

Thank you so much for this great feedback! Our team has just launched the Progress Dashboard, which allows teachers to view at-a-glance all the activities within their class, and which students have completed, started a draft, or not submitted work for each activity. This update is available online and for Seesaw for Schools and Plus users!

  • I agree, this should be a big "to do" on Seesaw's list. It would be much easier if I could just run a report to find out who has/hasn't completed an assignment.

  • I completely agree as well! Looking through every individual assignment takes way too much time. This would be so helpful!!

  • Yes this is a basic function that should be made available to all teachers using Seesaw.  I hope this improvement is made soon :)

  • YES! We need a way to click on a student and see what he/she has and has not completed.

  • YES!!!!!  I tried to tell a parent today what was missing and it was a nightmare.  I looked like I didn't know how to use your product as I rushed to click between the journal and assigned activities.  Wish we could " mark" the work too & have access to excel-like list.

  • Yes, this is a must! The calendar view has made this a little more helpful for the parents to help find but teachers need to be able to see (by student) what they still need to do. Please, please add this feature.

  • I was just logging on to figure out if there was a way to do this. Please make this possible ASAP. It is really dificult and time consuming to look at each activity and determine who is missing what. Would be much easier if we could click on a child and be able to see what they are missing. Please help

  • Adding this feature to Seesaw would be life-changing!! SOOOOOOO much time would be saved. :)   I adore Seesaw, and this is the one thing that I would add if I could change anything.

  • I'm trying to do progress reports and I can't tell how many assignments have been given (per student, because I differentiate) and what is missing (by student).  The only way to do it is so time consuming that it's not worth it.

  • Yes please add this feature. I'm a TOSA and support many teachers in my district and many of them have expressed how tiring it is to have to click on each activity to find out which students haven't turn it in. It would be so helpful if they could have a report that shows what each child is missing without having to click on each activity. Right now teachers have so much on their plates so anything that would help give them more time would be appreciated!

  • I did discover a workaround. I use the qr codes and sign in as the students. I can then see what is completed, what is in progress, and what has not been started. It is still time-consuming but not as time-consuming as going through each assignment. Teachers do need to be able to do it from their own accounts!

  • Please! This can't be that hard to do and it would be a huge time saver! Even better if the parents would be able to easily see what their child has not completed.

  • Yes please add a feature that will generate a list of missing assignments for each student.  It would really help to hold them accountable and to report to parents so they can support their child's education.
