Switching between multiple student accounts

Parents with more than one child sharing devices are having a hard time at home. They have to sign in and out all the time. It would be nice if Seesaw could remember recent logins and make switching easier, just like when you work with multiple Google accounts. So far I am telling parents to use an anonymous window in the browser, but this workaround is limited to computers and up to two simultaneous accounts. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback! This is something we hear from some of our customers, and we hope to be able to make it easier to use the the Seesaw apps and switch between different accounts and account types in the future!

  • Yes to this! I have families with the same problem.

  • Completely agree, very frustrating that I can't switch back and forth between students like we can on the family app. Hopefully the product team can do more to align both sides (parent and student) into a single product (or at least the family app to see everything a student sees in their app).

  • Yes, please! With more schools and classrooms using Seesaw for Virtual/Home Learning, we are running into siblings either in the same classroom or in different classrooms needing to be able to log into their student accounts.  There needs to be an easy and non-frustrating way for families with one device to be able to switch between siblings' accounts!

  • Yes to this!! 100% yes. Having 2 children who have their homework assigned and needing uploaded multiple times a week it is SO faffy having to find the QR code or passcode for each of them every time I need to sign in or out. Please make seesaw class like seesaw family so we can just switch journals. It makes home learning so much more time consuming and irritating than it needs to be.
