Voice Recording

Can we put a voice recording attached to a text box or a shape just like the new link?  I like they way the links have a small little icon next to it to show it has a link.  It would be great if we could do that with a voice recording as well with a small icon of a speaker or play button or something next to it instead of a huge one in the middle of the screen.

  • I've heard this from many teachers in my building. This would be so helpful! Especially when working with a slide that have multiple word problems on a page or something similar. It would allow students to listen to the specific part of the assignment they're working on instead of listening to a long recording of everything.

  • I would love to be able to have multiple recordings on a page! This would be a huge help especially for choices boards when I want to have directions for each different choice rather than give all my directions in one recordings. Students struggle sometimes when you give lots of directions and steps at a time, so being able to give multiple recordings but separated on the page, would be SO helpful!

  • This would also be VERY helpful for kindergarten students that can't read on their own yet.

  • Multiple voice overs on one page would be a HUGE benefit for struggling readers! They could listen to individual text boxes and follow along. An added plus would be a tool that highlights the words as the recording progresses.

  • I was going to post something similar.  Right now if I try to read the problems to my students the whole page gets copied and overlaid.  That's bizarre.  For young learners this would be extremely confusing to navigate if there are pieces that they need to move.  I would love to be able to record a sound clip and automatically link it to an object so if the object is moved, the clip is still with it
