Lock Page Order in Activity

The new updates are amazing, but I'm wondering if there is a way or could there be a way to lock pages in a certain order within an activity so students cannot move them around.  If we put a link on page 1 to go to page 3, a student may mess up that link jump if they accidentally move the pages out of order.

  • I would LOVE if we could lock down the slides and keep kids from deleting them!  Also is there a way to track if a student is deleting slides so we can show parents what is happening?  Parents are thinking that the program isn't returning the slides to the teacher and they are wanting another way of submitting outside of the program.

  • Not being able to rearrange the order and not being able to delete pages would be a great improvement. Also, not allowing students to unlock things that have been locked by the teacher please.

  • YES!  Teacher's should have the ability to lock and prevent the deletion and even modification of pages.

  • Seesaw, why are we still screaming for this feature and seeing no resolution on it?! We are still very much in the thick of teaching--many in virtual or hybrid situations, still--and not being able to lock pages is maddening for all! Please help us. We have plenty on our plates without having to deal with kids un-doing our work!

  • PLEASE PRIORITIZE THIS FEATURE!! Some students delete pages purposefully so it appears that they have done all the pages when in reality it just reduces how much work they have to do. Conversely, some kids accidentally delete a page and only need that single page but there's no simple way to fix that.

  • I would love it if they could not delete pages in activities and items we have put into activities.  Please, please, please!

  • We recently started Seesaw in our school and noticed that the activity we assigned to students, students were able to delete the pages. Would really love to lock those pages so that students won't be able to delete pages from their activity. Knowing some mischievous kids, they will delete those pages and say, "Oh, I couldn't see anything from the activity miss, so I can't do anything with it. .Sorry miss, can you resend the activity again?"

Hopefully we can add this feature into it soon.

  • Agree agree. I'm surprised this is not the most requested item. I do not understand how this is not already a feature: Make it so that students cannot delete pages created by the teacher. Does it have to do with user groups--are teachers and students in the same user group with the same permissions? I would love to know the backend.

  • July 2020- February 2022....Seesaw please fix this issue. We should be able to lock the order of pages and things within the activity and students should NOT be able to unlock/delete things!
