  • Was just getting ready to come on here and suggest the same thing. This is a much needed feature. We often spend a lot of time creating pages and activities. It’s a pain to have to re-create those in a new activity especially if I want to use pages from more than one other activity.

  • It would also be helpful if it meant we could copy and paste pages from the example to the student template and vise-versa.

  • It would be so helpful to copy a page with have already created with clickable links and icons to use in a different activity. Even more helpful if we can then edit some of the text (change date) and/or links (attached updated video) in the copied page.

  • I wish Seesaw would come up with a way to copy drawing pages - so you can use for multimedia and template without recreating and so that you could break apart and/or combine activities to meet your needs. Much like you can copy a slide in a PPT and paste/add to a new PPT.

  • I hope Seesaw will come up with a solution for this.

  • Is there a way to copy a drawing page without recreating? Like you can copy/paste a PPT slide into another PPT? Why, you might ask?
    1. To use it in both the multimedia component of an activity to provide modeling, and then also provide it as the template for student completion without recreating but just editing a bit?
    2. So that you could take a multi-page drawing activity and break it into smaller parts?
    3. So that you could combine single drawing activities and making them into multi-page?

If this is not possible - could you add it to your list of considerations for new features?? It would be so helpful.

  • Please please please make this feature possible. If not I may have to use google slides and classroom, because there I am allowed to just copy an entire slide, paste it onto a new slide (even within a new presentation) and everything stays the same. This makes it easy to quickly add pre made slides into activities so I don't have to assign 50 different assignments for the day. I would like to be able to make 1 assignment per day with multiple pages but be able to copy and paste from activities I have made and activities others have made onto different pages within my daily activity page. This will allow me to assign fewer activities to the parents so they are less overwhelmed. They would just have 1 activity with multiple pages a day to complete. However, currently if I want to do make one activity for parents I can't reuse previous made activities or others premade activities. I would have to assign multiple assignments and well that is just confusing! If we could either copy/paste or embed a saved activity onto a page in another activity it would make seesaw perfect. Please add this feature!!!!! I do not want to switch over to google.

  • This would be incredibly helpful to teachers from a pedagogical perspective. We know that with the memory and forgetting curve that it's helpful to reintroduce older material to re-engage and solidify student's knowledge and skills. Being able to go back to previous activities and copy important material to re-engage student memory and paste it into a new activity would support student learning and save teacher time. PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE!

  • We need this feature! Being new to Seesaw, it is disappointing that this isn't something that can be done. While there is so many interactive components, some of the basics things like this and being able to resize multiple images/textboxes at once are critical and not available.

  • I think having the ability to copy/paste between activities would help so much. I I find myself recreating things over and over. Please consider adding this feature!

  • YES! My staff and I were just talking about how helpful this would be! We love creating in Seesaw, but want to be able to have copies of what we spend so much time creating. Google Slides gives us that option so many of us are taking an extra step so we have copies of our work for the future rather than creating in Seesaw, but we would love to be able to just stay in Seesaw and create in Seesaw with the ability to download or copy the "slide" we create.

  • This would be so great. If there is a slide I need from an activity I always have to edit the original and delete all the unwanted slides which is just time consuming. But if I want more than one slide from two or more of my other activities I can’t do that and just have to remake them. I would love to be able to copy and paste slides from my other activities into my new ones!

  • THIS FEATURE NEEDS TO HAPPEN!! Teachers are finding these great activities or individually making there own, but needing to integrate into their one assignment. We need a way to use components of a built activity in a new one. For example: we are all trying to make a daily landing page or schedule or making a tabbed journal to keep kids on track, however, it is more difficult when there are parts we need. I also agree with the ability to duplicate or copy the student template into the teacher directions. Everyone is having to do double the work.

  • The ability to copy and paste a single or multiple slides from one activity to another would save me so much time.  I am a PreK-4th grade music specialist and frequently put the same 1 or 2 pages in each grade level's activity for the week.  The other 4-6 pages are specific to each grade level so copying and editing a complete activity is not effective.  The latest updates to Seesaw are quite helpful and I hope you are able to add this copy/paste feature soon.

  • Adding the ability to  copy a page from one activity to another is a feature that every teacher would benefit from.  Making a see saw activity is extremely time consuming, and not being able to copy a page from one lesson to another just adds to the time it takes.

  • I totally agree with chevron above.   I would definitely like the ability to copy from the example page to the template page.  I just spent hours creating an activity in the wrong section.  Wouldn't it be great if I could just transfer it across.

  • Please add this feature! It would allow me much more creative freedom in how I design my lessons. This would be an absolute GAME CHANGER .

  • I need this feature to help when I duplicate parts of lessons for multiple levels. Instead of recreating the entire lesson when only a portion or two need to be redone, that would be helpful

  • I teach Pre-K. When I assign activities, they need to be in one place. Linking one activity to another is difficult for them. Once they go out, they have a hard time getting back in. We need to be able to copy an activity and paste it in another activity that can just link to another slide in the same deck. Please, pretty please!

  • Yes, please add the ability to copy and paste from one activity to another, and/or merge activities. We have just switched to Seesaw for Schools for K-2 hybrid learning. Teachers want to be able to assign one subject to each teacher on the team; that teacher then creates the activities for that subject for that week. The challenge comes with posting. As many folks noted already, it is hard for the littles to deal with multiple activity posts. We want to create a multipage daily template with links to all subjects/activities for that day in the same activity post. Right now we have no way to combine the activities created by all team members. Thanks!

  • This is critical for collaboration and streamlining work.  For example, I could create assignments for math and my coteacher could create ELA assignments.  We could share them and then each quickly create a multipage activity for our students with a unique cover page.  This would help families with remote learning have a better idea what to do each day.

  • This is a desperately needed feature, @Seesaw!

It is quite a common mistake to create slides, record voice-over explanations etc on the example section, instead of the student template section. Please make it easy and possible to copy-paste slides from one section to another (in this case from student example to template for student)

  • For teachers collaborating and using the multi - page template as a landing page being able to copy and paste a page from one activity to another would be invaluable.

  • I was just searching to see how to copy a page from an example to the student template. Seems very redundant to have to create the exact same page twice and would love if a copy/paste feature was added for pages. This would save so much time!!
