Infinite Clone
I would love it if there was an option to "infinitely clone” an object. For example, if you are asking students to use a manipulative, such as counting cubes, to solve a problem, right now you have to duplicate the clipart image and stack them on top of one another. This is very tedious and limits the number of images students can use based on the amount of times that you duplicated it. If there was an infinite clone option students would be able to continuously drag and use the image until they had the exact amount they needed. I know this is available on SmartNotebook, and think it could be a very valuable asset to Seesaw.

Yes! Duplicating and attempting to layer the same object on itself is so tedious!
Yes, please! The infinite clone option is so useful when creating interactive activities for the students. It would be so incredibly helpful if it could be added to Seesaw!
Yes! Infinite clone option would make these math activities come to life!
Yes, please! I agree!

Yes please! And the duplicated object should not have sizing controls!!!
I came here to make a post about this, and found this one! Definitely needed and valuable for teacher creations!!
We would love this feature on our campus!
This would be a great feature to have!
Yes I totally agree! I am looking at someone's activity from the community that has infinite cloning and I'm driving myself crazy trying to figure out how they did it!
I agree, this would be a time saver!
Yes, please!
I was asked by teachers in my school to please ask about this also! We need this capability badly. This would be so helpful.
Does see saw people read this posts?
I was just searching for exactly this. Please include!!! Could someone from Seesaw please respond?
This would be amazing and save so much time and frustration!
This would be amazing!!!!
Yes!
Ditto. I just came on to request this feature, as well.
An infinite clone option would be so helpful!
I agree. This would be great when having kids spell words using letter tiles. I try to put enough but I inevitably make a mistake and don't put enough of a letter.
Yes please! This would be extremely helpful.
Perhaps it could be a sort of "shelf" system, from which students can grab as many of the objects placed there by the activity creator. I could see this working super well for maths activities (place value charts, bar modeling, dividing items into equal groups, etc.). Great idea!
I agree! This would cut down the amount of time I have to spend and then when a student deletes it and don't have enough it would be a problem.
Yes!! this is a great idea and would save a lot of time!
yes, this and disallowing students to resize objects would change the game for us in Kindergarten. We'd use fewer Boom Cards, and do more SeeSaw.
PLEASE!
This is a much needed feature!
Hi Angelina,
I think everyone's a little stressed and there are definitely new features that would make our lives easier. But let's try to keep it civil -- I can't imagine negative comments are going to inspire action.
Have a great day,
Tim
