Run a Class Report

I only transfer my seesaw activity grades to the gradebook quarterly.  I would love to be able to run a quick class report to see which activities each student has an accepted answer, a submitted but not accepted answer, or no submitted response. Ideally I would like to be able to choose a date range, then on the report have the students listed in a column with the dates of activities across the top row. For each activitiy date I would like to see some kind of mark for each student.  Maybe something like a check mark if the answer was accepted, an S if the answer was submitted but not accepted, and an X if no answer was submitted.

Thank you so much for this great feedback! Our team has just launched the Progress Dashboard, which allows teachers to view at-a-glance all the activities within their class, and which students have completed, started a draft, or not submitted work for each activity. This update is available online and for Seesaw for Schools and Plus users!

  • This would be super useful. Alot of us ended up resorting to Excel level spreadsheets to track work that was not done, part done/ completed to keep track ourseleves and for parents - it was a huge extra workload!

  • This would be soooo much easier and less time consuming than looking up each activity to manage completion of assignments.

  • I have a little work around that I am using. I create a skill for each activity (we have Seesaw for Schools in my district). I then attach that skill to the matching activity and then when a student submits their work in that activity it puts a 1 in the box. I attach a star rating too, so that I can see the colors. If it is grey then I know they haven't done the activity yet. if the box is grey and has a 1 in it, it tells me they either have a draft they haven't submitted or I have not approved/assigned a star rating to it yet.

  • Our teachers want to export a class report of all student activity grades in one spreadsheet.
