Organizing Activities in Collections

I would appreciate the ability to organize the activities I file into a collection. It would make finding the needed activity easier.

You can organize your personal activities into collections, here's some instructions for how to use collections: https://help.seesaw.me/hc/en-us/articles/360015093532-How-Do-I-Use-the-Activity-Library-

Thanks for the feedback about multiple collections and subfolders! We always appreciate feedback from the Seesaw community.

Another way you can organize collections is to use the "Teacher Notes" section to label activities with hashtags or keywords, which will be searchable and not visible to students.

  • I'm not sure I understand your request, as tagging activities in collections already exists. In Plus, you may have up to 10 collections and with Seesaw for Schools you may have 100 collections.

I was hoping to come and request certain abilities while using collections. Specifically, you can tag an activity into multiple collections, but may only tag on collection at a time. I wish to be able to tag multiple collections (the same way you can tag multiple children when assigning) at a time. And, as far as setting up those collections, I wish one could manage collections from the wrench, the same way you can manage folders and skills.

  • I am an Ambassador in a Seesaw for Schools district.  I already have 10 folders.  But it would be nice to have subfolders under the main folder.  Such as a main folder called "Math" with subfolders like Algebra, Geometry, Measurement, Numbers, Word Problems, AnyTime or Substitute Teacher Activities, etc.  If I make all of these individually, it gets a bit unwieldy especially when I'm in a time crunch.

  • I agree, it would be very helpful to be able to organize collections into subcollections.

  • I would like the ability to sort activities in a collection by name. This would make it much easier to find a specific activity.

  • I would also like to be able to sort the activities within each of my collections.  Currently, the new activities are at the bottom of the collection, but I'd like to be able to alphabetize them or move them next to other similar activities within that collection.

  • Same!  I have all my activities IN collections, but I want to be able to organize the WITHIN collections.  I'd really appreciate being able to have them alphabetized or at least drag & drop.
