How teachers and students can post to the blog

How do teachers and students post to the class blog?

Once you have a blog enabled, you and your students will see a globe icon beneath every post in the feed view. Tap the globe icon to add a post to the class blog. If you're a teacher, select Publish to confirm. All posts students add to the blog require teacher approval before they go live on the blog.

To approve a student blog post:

Tap the green check to approve the blog post in your teacher approval queue.

To deny a student blog post:

Tap the globe icon on that post again, and the post will not be published to the blog once it is approved. Teachers must re-approve the post after removing the publish to blog request for the post to show back up in the student’s journal.

If you do not want students to be able to post to the blog, you can disable that feature in Manage Class > Blog.

  1. Tap the wrench icon.
  2. Turn 'Students can post to blog' OFF.
