I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

If you've forgotten the password to your Seesaw account, you can reset it anytime. Teachers can also reset passwords for their students. 

*If you signed up using the Sign in with Google option and you forgot your password, you must reset your password with Google. Reset Google passwords here: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/41078?hl=en *

On the Seesaw website: 

  1. Go to this URL: https://app.seesaw.me/#/reset_password
  2. Enter in the email address for your account
  3. We'll send you an email with a special link to reset your password. If you don't see the email, check your SPAM folder.
  4. Follow the link in the email and reset your password. 

Parents and Families (Parent app): 

  1. Tap "Parent Sign in".
  2. Tap "Forgot Password?" button.
  3. We'll send you an email with a special link to reset your password. If you don't see the email, check your SPAM folder. 
  4. Follow the link in the email and reset your password. 

Teachers (Class app): 

  1. Tap "I'm a Teacher"
  2. Tap "Sign in"
  3. Tap "Forgot Password?" button
  4. We'll send you an email with a special link to reset your password. If you don't see the email, check your SPAM folder. 
  5. Follow the link in the email and reset your password

Students (Class app): 

  1. Tap "I'm a Student"
  2. Tap "Sign in"
  3. Tap "Forgot Password?" button
  4. We'll send you an email with a special link to reset your password. If you don't see the email, check your SPAM folder. 
  5. Follow the link in the email and reset your password

If students do not have access to their email inbox, teachers can change their password for them:   

  1. Sign in to your teacher account
  2. Click on Manage Class 
  3. Click on Manage Students
  4. Choose the student
  5. Click on Change Student Password
  6. Enter a new password, and click the change password button to confirm. 

Whenever a student's email password is changed by a teacher, all teachers on the class will be notified.
