English Language Arts: Real-World Application of New Vocabulary

Activity idea: Using the Note tool, have students choose a new vocabulary word or important concept from a recent unit (from social studies, science, literature, etc) and provide the definition or the significance of the word or concept. Then have students provide a real-word example that provides context for using the vocab word or applying the concept to real life.

Tip for Teachers/Students: Once students have defined the word or concept, they can use the voice recording tool to explain the real-world application of the concept.
