English Language Arts: Record Stories or Poems

Activity Idea: Students will create an engaging audio performance of a poem you recently read in class, or a poem they recently wrote. If you need grade-level appropriate poems, check out Readworks.org

Tip: Take a photo of the poem and use the drawing tool to add an illustration of the main theme or subject matter of the poem. OR - create a collage of the photo of the poem and a drawing or image that represents the subject matter of the poem using an app like PicCollage, and import that collage into Seesaw. Use the voice recorder tool to record reading the poem aloud, taking care to speak clearly, respect punctuation marks, and vary the tone of voice to make the recording more exciting.
