Activity: Students will create a short tutorial explaining how to solve a math problem.
Tip: Take a photo of a math problem you successfully solved from a recent unit of study. Imagine you were teaching a friend how to solve it and use the voice recorder to explain how to find the correct answer. OR - In groups of two, use the video tool to record a video of your partner solving the problem, making sure they explain what they are doing each step of the way. Once they are done, switch roles and record your tutorial.
Supports Common Core: CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.HSA.REI.A.1: Explain each step in solving a simple equation as following from the equality of numbers asserted at the previous step, starting from the assumption that the original equation has a solution. Construct a viable argument to justify a solution method.
