English Language Arts: Fact vs Opinion

Activity Idea: Have students read an expository text, news article or news editorial. In small groups, have students distinguish between what was fact and and what was opinion in the piece. Using the text note tool or the camera tool and voice recorder, students should highlight one fact and one opinion from the text.
